  This place is rated highly, and for very good reason. The moment you enter you are greeting by friendly staff and guided to a table. There is the traditional ordering system, or a QR code on the table to order if you wish.
  
  The moussaka was the perfect size and absolutely delicious. Simple ingredients, but bold flavour. Reminded me of exactly how my nan makes it, absolutely delicious.
  
  The eggs Benedict was also fantastic value for money. The eggs perfectly poached and hollandaise sauce buttery.
  
  The coffee was also excellent (as expected in Oakleigh) and the perfect temperature. I try to visit at least once ever Melbourne trip and was not disappointed at all.
  
  They offer late opening hours and cater to the after dinner dessert and coffee late at night.
  
  We would absolutely return.

  It's certainly my number one Greek restaurant in Melbourne! I've been several times to Vanilla and I mostly had a good experience. It's located in a bustling venue close to public transport. The staff have always been friendly and welcoming. We never had to wait too long for our orders to arrive. They have a rich menu and it's reasonably priced. My favourite dish is their moussaka! They also have a wide range of cakes. The raffaello cake is my favourite one! It has a cosy atmosphere and a modern design. It can really be busy and hard to find a table at times but usually you don't have to wait long until a table becomes available. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone!

  My go to for a casual catch up with friends for dinner, coffee and cake. The team are always super friendly and always make room for you.
  
  The cake selection is unrivalled in the local area and always fresh. They make a great coffee too.

  We just has our sons christening here upstairs in the function area (155 guests) on the weekend that just passed and wow!! So glad we held it there, Vicki and all the staff were fantastic! Very accommodating and the food was plentiful and very good! All my relos and friends were coming up to me telling me how much of a good time they had! The cake also from Vanilla (dealing with the other amazing Vicki) was exactly what I was after and tasted fantastic! Thanks again for making my sons christening so special!

  A good place to dine with friends and family. High-quality food and great service, friendly staff.
  Went there for dinner with family.
  Enjoyed our meals. Would definitely try again!
